Lavender essential oil has a scent that's a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm. It’s this dynamic aroma that has made the plant a classic for perfumes, soaps, fresheners, and beauty products. As one of our most popular products, Lavender is a great beginner oil and a must for every home. Lavender essential oil isn't a favorite only because of its classic scent—it's also highly versatile. From skin care products to relaxing routines, this oil can infuse and enhance many areas of your life.
This comes with a small plastic spray bottle to make your own lavender spray to spritz your pillow for sleep.
This was our gate way oil. When our oldest son was 3 he had night terrors about spiders, (thanks to his favorite show Caillou), and he would wake up screaming like he was dying. Waking someone up that is having night terrors is never a good idea but we couldn't really even if we wanted too because he was deaf and couldn't hear us. He was too involved in his dream to feel us shaking him or even holding him.
I was pregnant with our 4th child and we hadn't had a full nights sleep in what seemed like months. A friend had mentioned trying Benadryl to get him through the night but I just didn't feel like I could do that, though honestly it was sounding better and better the less sleep I got.
Then I tried lavender. He SLEPT through the night! I thought it was a fluke but after a week he was still sleeping and I felt so REFRESHED. I recommend lavender to anyone trying to get themselves or their kiddos to rest better.
How to use:
This needs to be applied at bed time when they are ready to lay down and go to sleep on their big toes, behind their ears, or on the back of their neck. It is a natural way to help calm down but if they are up running around it will not make them just fall asleep.
You can also make a lavender spritz. Simply add some table salt at the bottom of the bottle, add the oil, fill the rest of the way with water, and shake well before each use.
